This project was a cumulation of the skills I learned while earning my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. The story was written by my dad and I created all the artwork and animation under the guidance of my advisor. My sister composed the music, I recorded my professor narrating the story, and I was able to find foley for the sound effects. My original goal of this project was to combine my knowledge of video production with graphic design, but as the project progressed, it became obvious that it was more of a combination of my fine art classes (drawing, digital painting, illustration), my graphic design classes (Graphic Design 1-4, motion graphics, visual communications), and my media art classes (stop motion, intro to animation, video editing) that made it into my final project. The book and video together took me about a year to complete during two semesters of full credit loads and working over the summer.
